BANKSETA, ie Banking Sector Education and Training Authority is a statutory body in South Africa that was set up through the Skills Development Act of 1998 and whose main objective was to enable its stakeholders to advance the banking and microfinance industry both at the national & at the global level.
As such, BANKSETA , being an agent of transformation, seeks to promote employment equity and BBBEE through skills development. They have a learnership program where they are recruiting disabled learners to join their National Certificate in Contact Centre and Business Process outsourcing Support Learnership.
The main aim of the learnership is to assist disabled matriculants to gain skills that will be useful when they get work and give them a qualification that gives them a better edge of getting employment.
The training program begins on 3rd June 2013 for the successful candidates. Also know that the training offered is free and you be receiving an allowance for attending the training.
The learnership Programme is managed by Stanley Hutcheson and Associates and funded by BANKSETA.
